New Every Morning

One of my favorite quotes (author unknown at the moment) says,

“Courage does not always roar.  Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’”

I’m writing this blog as an exercise in discipline, faithfulness, to encourage, and, ultimately, to just be courageous, if possible.  I find I regularly let myself down with regard to my own expectations, not to mention those of others.  So I have to remind myself that tomorrow presents a new opportunity to succeed (or to fail).

My intention is to hone my skills as a writer and, in the process, maybe bring a little hope, or laughter, or relief to someone.  I realize some who visit my page may not agree with what I have to say, or may not even like it.  That’s ok, because that’s what will help me sharpen and harden my talent.  I hope you will find something on here you think is worthwhile, and perhaps you will re-visit from time to time.  I’m happy and honored to have you.
